DJK’s clients always get the highest specification lighting design. Our technical knowledge allows us to specify the right solution at the very best price. We offer a lighting design service for both interior and exterior applications, including main service lighting and contemporary background illumination.

Lighting schemes are designed to provide energy-efficient, long-life expectancy alongside the decorative solutions. They are designed in accordance with the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and all comply with building regulation requirements.

In addition to helping the environment through decreased carbon emissions, there are solid benefits to switching to low energy LED and compact fluorescent lighting:

DJK’s installed fire alarm and emergency lighting systems comply with the requirements of BS 5839 and BS 5266.

We also inspect, test and certify existing systems in accordance with these British Standards.

DJK specialise in testing, inspection and reporting on domestic electrical systems

At DJK we specialise in electrical testing and certification. Our team of qualified engineers are fully compliant with electrical regulations. They can undertake comprehensive inspections to ensure your home and appliances meet the requirements of BS7671 IEE wiring regulations at all times.

Testing and inspections span all of our electrical services, with the appropriate NICEIC test certification provided for each section:

• Domestic houses
• New builds
• Temporary installations
• Smoke detectors
• Emergency lighting
• Landlord reports
• Portable appliance testing (PAT)

We offer all testing and inspection reports on either an estimate basis or an hourly rate, which can be tailored to our customers requirements.

Upon completion full NICEIC certification is issued, complete with schedules of results and tests completed.
