DJK are fully approved commercial electrical contractor, providing a range of electrical design, installation and testing services.

Our qualified team of engineers have experience in all aspects of the electrical industry covering design and installation of domestic, commercial and industrial electrical systems. DJK offer a range of renewable and low-carbon technologies from advanced LED lighting, heat pumps, solar PV and solar heating arrays to bio mass boilers and wind generation. Our engineers are fully trained on the installation of low voltage supplies including data networks, telecom, television, fire alarm, security/CCTV, audio visual installations and specialist lighting control systems such as Lutron.

DJK have a professional experienced competance with the testing, inspection and reporting on domestic, commercial and industrial electrical systems. Our reports are compliant with ‘BS 7671 IEE Wiring Regulations 17th Edition 2008’ and our engineers are annually assessed by the NICEIC. We undertake Portable Appliance (PAT), fire alarm and data networks testing, with full test results produced against all electrical appliances for your health and safety records.

Site Log Books

All maintenance tasks undertaken as part of a schedule of works, will be recorded on maintenance task sheets and filed within a log book to be held on-site with additional copies held by us.

The log book will also incorporate a section containing our health and safety policy including risk assessments and COSHH information, insurance documentation and any other required statory documentation.

As qualified fire alarm system designers, installers and maintenance engineers, DJK offer a complete emergency system service

As an NICEIC approval contractor you can rest assured that all our installations are performed to the highest standards, combined with an innovative, creative design approach.

DJK’s installed fire alarm and emergency lighting systems comply with the requirements of BS 5839 and BS 5266.

We also inspect, test and certify existing systems in accordance with these British Standards.

Commercial / Industrial Lighting

Emergency lighting systems of all sizes are tested and maintained, from single self contained light fittings to central battery installations.

Each light is given an individual reference code, and test documentation is also provided for every fitting. We also include a diary of tests and reports of any defects found and when these are repaired.

These records provide our customers with an invaluable log book for their premises, which offers the required system traceability.

Our team of C&G 2391/2394/2395 qualified engineers understand and are fully compliant with electrical regulations and can undertake comprehensive inspections to ensure your premises and appliances meet the requirements of BS7671 IEE wiring regulations at all times.

Testing and inspections span all of our services, with the appropriate NICEIC test certification provided for each section:

Health and Safety Regulations

With health and safety regulations becoming more stringent, and insurance companies demanding more rigorous conditions before they offer cover, it is necessary electrical installations are properly maintained.

We offer all testing and inspection reports on either an estimate basis or an hourly rate, which can be tailored to our customers requirements.

Upon completion full NICEIC certification is issued, complete with schedules of results and tests completed.

All inspection reports are checked and reviewed by our C&G2391/2394/2395 qualified engineers.

In addition we also offer a rolling test programme, which allows our clients to fulfil their test and inspection requirements, whilst spreading costs over a fixed term contract period.
